We had a babyshower for our friends Melanie and Keri in February and we did it as a Valentine's theme since there was one girl and one boy. We figured they were our Valentine's this year!!! We had a blast!

I got this picture just before my camera died! Melanie was opening her other gift from me. It was a Mommy Pot...and if you don't know what that is, it's a little pot for the flowers that the kids bring in from the yard!!! It is the cutest thing and all moms should have one!! If you want one just give me a call or shoot me an e-mail and I will give you the information for where to get one!!
This is soon to be big brother Jason!!! He was having a ball playing with all of the kids that were at the shower!!!
Big brother Nathan!!! His baby sister had already arrived for the shower, so by this time he had already had a couple of weeks with her and was a pro!!!
Baby girl Maryn!!!!! Isn't she just the sweetest little thing? It was so neat because I got to see her grow in her Mommy's belly, and now she's here! It's so special to have friends to share that with!!!

Auntie Holly came to a playdate at Lets Play to see all of the fun!!! This slide that she is about to go down is REALLY fast...I couldn't believe it the first time I went down! You should see the kids just fly down it!!
This is Ashleen. Isn't she the cutest? Corey and Ashleen play together a lot!!! We have become good friends with her Mom and Dad...Kathleen and Jaime.
Corey is a pro at jumping on this thing! He just loves it!!! He was so excited that his Auntie Holly was there to play that day!

This was the third time we had been here. It is a little petting zoo called Curley's Place, and it's just outside of Palm Coast. They have all sorts of animals, but the last time we were here the turkeys scared Corey because they kept charging at us!!! So, he didn't want to get out of his stroller this time! It is going to take a lot of work to get him to be comfortable there ever again!!!
In this picture is my good friend Melanie with her son Nathan. They have been in our playgroup since just about the beginning, and we have all become great friends! Corey just loves Nathan!!!
Corey FINALLY got out of his stroller, and in this picture he's THINKING about petting the animals!!!
This was Nathan's first time at Curley's Place and he loved it! He was a pro at feeding the animals by the time we left!
Corey and his new buddy Luke! Luke is about a year older than Corey. They have a lot of fun together too!

Corey just loves making big messes in his room for Mommy to clean up! Daddy built him his toy box, and he is so proud of it!!! He makes the biggest messes!! How can you be mad at a little face as cute as his? This picture was taken during his first trip to Lets Play. It is an indoor play place that has a big jungle gym and lots of toys to play with! Corey had so much fun! What a handsome little man! He's so silly with his serious face! This is Corey and his buddy Michael playing at the train table! They are both fanatics of Thomas the Train!!! It was amazing that they were sharing! Corey was sick in this picture! He just wanted to sit around all day and snuggle with Moose! He insisted on wearing this hat too! Holly was feeding the Lama here! Its lips were so furry that it tickled! We were very brave and fed it though!!! Corey didn't want to have anything to do with this animal! Corey hanging out with his Bop! He was checking out the camel! We brought Corey to a little petting zoo that they had at the Sunshine mall in South Daytona! He loved this goat...it kept getting out of the fence!!! Can't you tell by his face that he's saying "look mommy!" He was so excited about all of the animals!!! He got to ride a pony! He was very excited!!! I walked around in the circle with him so he wouldn't get scared! Bob got out of work early that day and came with us! He loves to do things like this with Corey! Corey gets so excited when he knows his Bop is coming to play with him!!!

Christmas in NY!!!!

I even got to go see my cousin Jessie this year!!! We hadn't seen one another in about 7 years!!!! It was really great to be able to sit and chat with her again!
Me, Aunt Georgia, and Jessie! We enjoyed a nice dinner of spaghetti and salad...my favorite!!!! Got a chance to sit and catch up, and chat with family! It was wonderful! Can't wait to see them again!!!
My baby's first snow!! hahaha!!! I was so proud!!!! She was very cold!!!!!
Cousins are the best playmates!!! These two are going to grow up to love one another so much!!!
This toy was originally bought by Rachel and Eric for Corey, and Corey learned how to walk with it! So, we passed it down to Logan and it helped him too!!!
Ethan opening one of his Christmas presents! He gets a tool every year, and he's always so excited!!! Don't you love how he's wearing shorts on Christmas morning in NY??? His parents house is soooo hot!!!
Corey went for a ride on the tractor with his Daddy! It was so cold!!! They were plowing all of the snow off the driveway! Corey loved it!!!!
We have two of the cutest little boys in the world in our family!!! They have so much fun with their Grandpa Bowman!! He will definitely be a favorite among them as they grow up!

Logan with his Nana! Logan's mommy Rachel made that hat for Corey last Christmas (2006) but it was too little for him, and he wouldn't have kept it on anyhow! Logan liked it!!!

First night in NY...we got to watch Logan (our nephew) for a few hours!! He is a handsome little man!!!

As always Christmas at Mom and Bret's is tons of fun! We do our Christmas and then later in the evening Tammy, Tom and the girls come over, and Nanny. This year was Ricky's last official year at home! He is leaving for the Marines May 26th!!! For his big gift this year he got the weights from Boflex! He loves them! The jacket that Holly is holding up was voted "worst" gift of the year!!! There's usually one every year from Mom!!! We like to tease her about it! Bret finally got his red converse sneakers he had been asking for! Corey got tons and tons of clothes! Ethan got clothes and I got a big organizer for my scrapbooking stuff. We had a very merry christmas!

This was Christmas morning in our new home! My Mom always made sure that we had a certain number of presents under the tree, so I guess I sort of carried on the tradition! Corey had fun opening about 14 of them, after that he was bored and ready to play with his new stuff!!! Little did he know that we had more presents to open at Mimi and Bop's house!

Corey didn't like Santa this year nearly as much as he did last year!!!

Waiting in line for Santa! We recently moved to Palm Coast and this little city has lots of great things for the kids to attend! They had a night of caroling, and seeing santa and mrs claus! It was great! They even took a picture of the kids for free!

This is Corey inside of Corey's car! I couldn't believe that he got in, and then he managed to get out too without us having to cut him out of it!!!! He's so strange!!!

Corey just loves his Auntie Holly, and she loves him!!! It's amazing how she can entertain him for hours and he just keeps coming back for more fun!!! She wears him out too...I haven't seen anyone else wear him out the way she does!
Corey just loved all of the goodies that were out on the counter! He kept climbing onto the back of his lounge chair that is in the family room to get into all of the food!!! He ate sooo much that day!!!

I have decided to jump ahead to Corey's third Halloween! If I didn't do this there is no way that I would ever catch up!!! So, here he is as a skunk! Bret has come with us for the past three years to the Halloween festivities! He calls it "his holiday." He loves taking Corey trick or treating, and showing him off to everyone!

Christmas in New York is always lots of fun!!! We celebrate with Ethan's family up there. Rachel was pregnant this year! It was really fun to see her open presents for the baby! She made Corey a Christmas hat, but he wasn't too fond of it! He's not a hat baby at all! He wore them when he was little, but now that he knows how to tear them off he does! We had a fondue dinner, with lots of yummy stuff to dip! We wanted to do something different, and Rachel and Ethan's mom came up with that. It was really yummy!!!

Mimi and Bop's house is always a lot of fun at Christmas time...especially for Corey! They spoil him...oh so much...and he knows where all of the good stuff is! We had so much fun watching Corey open his presents and play with all of his new stuff! We get to spend time with my Mom's side of the family the same day, so it's nice to catch up with them too. Even though they live in the same city...we don't see them that often! Corey has so much fun with his cousins! They all love one another to pieces!

Every year at Christmas we do Christmas at our house in the morning, or evening...whenever it works out; then we have Christmas with my mom's side of the family...then we head to New York for a week! Christmas 2006 was lots of fun! Corey was more into it than the year before...mainly because he was only 2 months old for Christmas of '05! He opening his presents, and played with them! He still needed a little help, but it was tons of fun!

Thanksgiving was a lot of fun this year because Corey was bigger and got to enjoy a little of the meal with us. We had a great time with all of our family there. It's always nice to spend time with family since it doesn't happen very often. Especially wonderful to spend time with my Mom because she works so much! So, that time with her is great! This year we actually got to spend the day with Joey. This is such a seldom thing that it's really special when it happens. Him and Ricky had a great time together. They were goofing around most of the day! Notice Ricky's hair, it is so long! I can never get a normal picture of him! He's always acting funny!

Corey was Eeyore for his second Halloween! Eeyore is his favorite character! He calls him his buddy! He has one that he carries all over with him. He needs it to go to bed with, and sometimes he even wants to bring it with us when we go places! So, this was the perfect costume for him. My Mom and I actually found it at a thrift store for kids like the year before! What a great find!

Corey turned one on October 14th, 2006!!! We had his party at Blue Springs State Park in DeLand Florida. We had lots of family and friends there. We didn't really have a theme for the party, but my step mom Kerry made his cake. She did a train over top of a sheet cake. It was really cute. Probably the most memorable thing about his party was him eating his personal cake. I made it for him, and I fully expected him to just dig right in, but he didn't...it actually took some persuading to get him to eat a little! After we got him to taste it, then he got messy!

Aunt Rachel and Uncle Eric (Ethan's sister and her husband) came down from New York in August of 2006. We had such a great time with them here! We went to the beach a few times, and went to Wet 'n Wild, and then they treated us to a great dinner at The Melting Pot. This place was amazing, and hopefully someday we'll go back there!

Our 2nd Anniversary!

For our second anniversary Ethan, Corey, and I all went to Orlando for the weekend. We stayed at the Florida Mall Hotel, and went to Sea World on Saturday morning. We had so much fun, Corey loved all of the animal shows! Corey had quite a hard time falling asleep in the hotel, it was his first time not sleeping in his crib. The most exciting thing that we did at Sea World was getting to pet the dolphins. They have a big pool that they swim in and you can go right up and reach over the edge and touch them when they swim by! It was absolutely amazing!!! We also took a tour and got to see Penguins up close, that was pretty neat as well!

Auntie Holly's Graduation!!!

Auntie Holly graduated from high school in May of 2006! Her best friend KC suprised her and came down from New York. She didn't make it to the graduation ceremony, but was here for her party. Holly had no idea that she was coming, and it was very exciting to see her reaction!!!

Corey's first Easter!

Corey's first Easter was very exciting for me! I loved getting his basket all together and seeing him open it! I made him a little teddy bear and put it in there. I wanted to make him something that he could have forever! I'm not a very crafty person when it comes to sewing, so his nose is a little crooked! Ethan picks on me and says that it's a demented bear, and I just say that Corey will treasure it forever! It is a pretty funny looking bear!

Corey's first Christmas!

Corey's first Christmas was so much fun! He was only two month and 11 days old, so he was still very tiny! He was passed around to everyone, and sat in his baby seat for the majority of the time. We always have Christmas at my Mom and Bret's house, and then we have my Auntie Tammy and her family over, and my Nanny and we celebrate with them. After we celebrate with them Ethan and I always head out either that night, or the following morning for New York. In New York we spend a week with Ethan's family and celebrate Christmas with them. Corey's first Christmas was very exciting!

We had to stay in the hospital from Thursday night, October 13th until Sunday afternoon the 16th. I had to stay so long because of the c-section. Ethan was amazing in the hospital, he got up both nights and got Corey for me when he was hungry and changed his diaper everytime that he needed it! He was probably just as exhausted as I was! I couldn't get out of bed because of the pain, not to mention the catheter! I was silly and didn't know that I could have pain mediation after my surgery, I assumed that I had all that they could give me; so I went 24 hours before anyone asked me if I wanted any medicine! YIKES!!! I could barely walk at all! After they gave me medicine I was much better! The night that we went home Ethan and his Dad went and got us Pizza Hut! It was my choice! Pizza Hut is my favorite pizza!!! The next day we had lots of visitors, and Ethan's parents had to leave that day. Nursing Corey wasn't going as planned, so my Mom and Bret got me a really great pump that I continued to use until Corey was eight months old!!! What a hassle...but well worth it!

First Blog!

This is my first blog and I'm not too sure how it works, but I'm going to give it a try! I started this to keep my family and friends who are far away up to date on our status as a family! Ethan and I have an amazing son who is now 2 years old! Boy does time fly by! He is the light of our lives, and the reason we both get up every morning! (Otherwise I would sleep all day!) I will start from the beginning and work my way forward! Two years has gone by so fast! I will start with all of the pictures from his birth and taking him home! I hope you all enjoy the pictures!
